Discover the scenic beauty of Mount Fuji on a day trip from Tokyo. Visit the Arakura Sengen Shrine and Chureito Pagoda, Oshino Hakkai, Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi, and the Healing Village at Lake Saiko.<\/span><\/div>\n
Start your day with a visit to the Arakura Sengen Shrine and Chureito Pagoda, a scenic hotspot for Mount Fuji views. Climb the 397 steps near the main hall to capture the iconic scenery of \u201cMount Fuji & the townscape below\u201d in a single frame.<\/span><\/div>\n
Next, head to Oshino Hakkai, a collection of 8 pristine ponds formed by Mount Fuji\u2019s melted snow filtered through layers of earth. Taste the sweet spring water and enjoy the beautiful natural setting of the ponds, which blend harmoniously with the backdrop of Mount Fuji.<\/span><\/div>\n
Continue to Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi, where you can see the lavender fields in summer and the red kochia bushes in autumn. After you check-in to the hotel, it\u2019s totally up to you how you would like to spend the rest of the day as for us we have given you the rest of the day for leisure. DAY 05: HOKKAIDO :FULL DAY\u00a0 BIEI BLUE POND & FURANO FARM TOUR<\/span><\/div>\n
Immerse yourself in the serene natural wonders of Hokkaido on a day trip from Sapporo. Tour Furano\u2019s blooming flowers, see nature in all its glory at Shirogane Blue Pond, experience tranquility, on a tractor ride through the gardens of Shikisai-no-Oka, and look at handicrafts at Ningle Terrace.<\/span><\/div>\n
Start your journey with a ride on the Biei Roller Coaster Road, a 2.5-kilometer straight road with significant elevation changes, known as one of the eight scenic spots of Furano. See majestic mountains on both sides with a vast countryside scenery.<\/span><\/div>\n
Get down at your first stop, Blue Pond in Biei, formed by volcanic lava flow. Gaze in awe at its blue reflection in sunlight. In mid-August, the winter greenhouse showcases various plants such as lavender and cosmos. Saffron starts blooming in mid-April, followed by daffodils and tulips in May. Next, enter a fairytale world with a 30-minute visit to Ningle Terrace, a handicraft workshop in the green forest of Furano inspired by a character from the novel by Japanese author Tomonori Ware. Begin your journey with a visit to Noboribetsu Hell Valley, a volcanic caldera near Lake Toya. Formed around 10,000 years ago, this eerie landscape emits white steam and carries a strong sulfuric smell, giving it the appearance of “hell.” Note: This site may be inaccessible in winter due to road conditions.<\/span><\/div>\n

Begin your day with a visit to Noboribetsu Hell Valley, a volcanic crater formed around 10,000 years ago. This 450-meter-wide caldera still emits steam, creating a barren, sulfur-scented landscape that resembles a scene from “hell.” This eerie atmosphere is what gives the valley its name.
